Common questions

If you don’t see your question here, call us at [SUPPORT NUMBER]. We’re always glad to help.

Is this insurance?

No. This is a discount program, not insurance and not a health plan. It doesn’t replace your coverage.

What does it cost?

The card is free — there’s no membership and no monthly fee. Your price is the negotiated rate plus one small flat fee, and that fee is the same on every prescription, no matter where you live or what your medication costs. We always show you your price before you go.

Can I use it at my pharmacy?

Almost certainly. The card works at more than 60,000 pharmacies nationwide. Enter your pharmacy on the price page and you’ll see.

Do I have to switch pharmacies?

No. That’s the point. We built this so you can stay where you are.

Can I use this with my insurance?

Not on the same prescription. A prescription is filled one way or the other. Use whichever is cheaper — check your price here, compare it to what your plan charges, and choose.

What if my plan is cheaper?

Then use your plan. We’ll show you our price so you can compare. We’d rather you trust us than overpay us.

Do I need to sign up?

No sign-up required. Look up prices freely, and get a free card in about a minute if you want one.

Does the card expire?

No. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.

Can I use it for my spouse or family?

Yes. One card covers your household, with no limit on how many times you use it.

Will my price be the same every time?

Not necessarily. These rates change, and any company that tells you their price never moves isn’t being straight with you. That’s why we show you your price before you go — so there’s never a surprise at the counter.

What if the medication is still too expensive?

There are assistance programs for expensive medications. See our Resources page for programs that can help, and how to find out whether you qualify.
